Judd’s Place………….
Continuing our close relationship with The Tollgate Partnership, we were appointed to undertake the Design of the Mechanical Services in connection with the TPL vision for “Judd’s Place” at Tollgate Village.
A mixed use commercial enterprise, capable of offering incoming tenants a range of unit sizes and flexibility, while retaining Energy Efficiency effective design options.
Following the Design Phase, we were then appointed to undertake the installation of the CAT-A Services to the development by ROSE Builders.
Completed in April 2026, the development is now underway to the CAT-B Fitout Phase as tenants join the vision.
We at MADSON continue to support TPL in delivering the CAT-B Design & Build Mechanical Services to the development.
Project “Pheonix”……
Following completion in June 2022, the Head Quarters Facility of Care-Co at Horizon 120 in Braintree suffered a devastating fire in September 2023, causing a near total loss to the Warehouse & Offices of the company. An emergency response project team was put together by Care-Co, to initiate Project “Pheonix” that would allow the company to continue trading during this difficult time and until the Head Quarters could be rebuilt.
Two adjacent building were quickly identified as offering both Office & Storage facilities to Care-Co, Units 1 & 3, adjacent to the original HQ.
In October 2023, working with ROSE Builders, we undertook and Design & Build CAT-B Upgrade and Fitout of the two buildings, providing the Mechanical Services necessary to keep the business operational, completed and handed back in February 2024.
During this period a new concept for the Head Quarters was being developed. New layouts and new interior requirements were designed for Care-Co by Interior Designers CANN Creative.
MADSON Air Conditioning were nominated by the client to undertake the new Mechanical Services and again work with ROSE Builders to deliver the visions of the Care-Co.
Commencing on site in 2024 and completing in September 2025 Project Pheonix has seen the rebirth in its full glory of the Head Quarters for Care Co.

Chesterwell Nursery & Residential Apartments
We are pleased to share that we have been appointed to undertake the Mechanical Services D&B installation for the New Build Nursery & Residential Apartments currently under construction in Colchester for the Seymore House Nursery Group, on behalf of ROSE Builders.

Completed in June 2022, MADSON Air-Conditioning provided the full Mechanical Services to a new build state of the art 100,000 SqFt Office and Warehouse Facility at the new Horizon 120 Development in Braintree, Essex.
With the internal M&E services being installed in an "exposed" style, this project relied on close attention to detail with other installing trades.

We have worked closely with this private developer for many years, providing a Design & Build service to cater for the Mechanical Services associated with their portfolio of Commercial Projects.
Tollgate Business Park:
Working with Barnes Construction Limited, we have completed both the CAT-A base build and subsequent CAT-B fitout works to provide the full Mechanical Services at the Tollgate Business Park, comprising of 12No Office and Commercial Units totalling approx. 98,000sqft.
Our works consisted of designing and installing Heat-Recovery Air Conditioning & Ventilation systems, together with Public Health Services, tailored to the individual requirements of the tenant’s operations.
This project was completed in 2015 with a value of £295K. We currently continue to provide a full Maintenance Package to the Business Park.
In 2014 we undertook the complete Design & Build of the Mechanical Services to the Tollgate Partnerships flagship office development in Stanway, Colchester “Pappus House,” to provide flexible commercial office accommodation in a state of the art facility.
We provided highly energy efficient Heat-Recovery Air Conditioning & Ventilation Systems, together with Underfloor Heating via Air Source Heat-Pumps and Public Health Services.
This project was completed in 2015 with a value of £190K We currently continue to provide a full Maintenance Package to the development.
Completed in 2017 AMPHORA Place is a landmark office development on behalf of Colchester Borough Council & Birkett Long LLP.
MADSON Air Conditioning were appointed as the Mechanical Contractors to undertake the CAT-A fitout of the Mechanical Services, as designed by M&E Consultants JSH.
We subsequently undertook the CAT-B fitout, directly working for the incoming tenant Birkett Long LLP, to complete the Mechanical Services to their exacting requirements.

Phase 2 Sheepen Road...
Completed in March 2019 Phase 2 of the Sheepen Road development at AMPHORA Place is another landmark office development on behalf of Colchester Borough Council.
MADSON Air Conditioning have completed the Mechanical Services, as designed by M&E Consultants JSH, on behalf of ROSE Buiders Ltd.
